For a Job Well Done

Any and every time a staff member is mentioned by one of our residents or their families either in the satisfaction surveys or a special note, those staff members are celebrated at the monthly staff meeting with a token of appreciation

For A Job Well Done - ALL MONTH

Each month, an Employee of the Month is chosen by a committee of peers and recognized at the monthly staff meeting.

Each Employee of the Month receives;

• Their picture and bio framed and hung on our wall of heroes as Employee of the Month
• Recognition in the Plaza Periodical which is published bi-monthly on the Plaza Healthcare website
• A special certificate commemorating their achievement
• $100
• A designated parking spot for the month
• A ticket to the Employee of the Year Celebration

For A Job Well Done - ALL YEAR

Each year, the Employees of the Month from the previous year, and the current Employee of the Year vote on who of the 12 Employees of the Month should be recognized as Employee of the Year at the Employee of the Year celebration.

The Employee of the Year receives

• Their picture and bio framed and hung on our wall of heroes as Employee of the Year
• Recognition in the Plaza Periodical which is published bi-monthly on the Plaza Healthcare website
• A special granite plaque commemorating their achievement
• $1000

For Being Born

At the monthly staff meeting, those with a birthday that month are celebrated with a token of appreciation.

For Being an Employee of a Department at Plaza Healthcare

Each year, a day is set aside to recognize every department at Plaza Healthcare, whether it is a 2 person department or 100.

For Being an Employee of Plaza Healthcare

At the monthly staff meeting, those celebrating a work anniversary are recognized and given their service pin.

In addition to service pins, those employees that have reached a certain milestone receive the following;

• 20 years – $500 and a special certificate
• 25 years – $750 and a special certificate
• 30 years – $1,000, a plaque commemorating the achievement, and a banner hung in the Lobby
