Guest Relations is often times the first point of contact for anyone newly admitted to Plaza Healthcare. Guest Relations welcomes each new patient and provides pertinent information about the facility and its services. Guest Relations is also responsible for completing the necessary admission paperwork with the patient or responsible party.

Guest Relations is available Monday through Friday and works as a liaison between the patient and Social Services to identify any needed items such as clothing or other basic necessities.

One of the key responsibilities of Guest Relations involves Patient satisfaction. Within 72 hours of arrival, Guest Relations will conduct a Post Admission Satisfaction Survey with each patient or responsible party. Following this, an interim satisfaction survey will be completed approximately two weeks later and randomly thereafter and finally upon discharge, a Post Discharge Satisfaction Survey will be conducted. Guest relations shares any concerns and compliments with the appropriate departments for follow up. In addition, Guest Relations works closely with the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Committee to identify trends and to recommend opportunities for employee recognition.
